Our organization was established in 1962 and had the status of secondary school. Recently the school provides primary and basic education and is called progymnasium. In 2014-2015 the school successfully participated in the international project COMENIUS “ Life in our city - life in our neighborhood. Analysis of the living conditions in our urban district and our city”. It was highly valuable and meaningful experience due to the fact that the students participated in the activities and meetings in EU countries: Finland, Germany, Belgium and Poland. The partners gained much experience in investigating their life conditions, famous places, various cultural and historical spots. They collaborated in international teams and produced a great variety of outcomes: a virtual Google maps product, projects of City gaps theme, video presentations about national festivals, customs and traditions. |
